This solo effort from LA-born, Brooklyn-bound producer Belief has lyricists Murs, Vorudul Mega (Cannibal Ox), C-Rayz Walz and Wordsworth all over it, rhyming on most tracks (aside from a few instrumental tunes), either with each other or alone. The result is an album that is held together by a common musical thread, but benefits from the controlled variation that a small number or vocalists can offer. The depth of Belief's production ability and the strength of his ear are more evident here than ever before (he's built dope beats for Vordul, Murs, Jean Grae, Talib Kweli and many more), and this group of seasoned, honest and skilled MCs sounds really strong together. Definitely a solid, worthwhile listen.
